Error codes M08, M3D, M61, or M87 on Denago golf carts often point to a motor temperature sensor issue. This typically causes the cart to die while driving or become unresponsive to the throttle, sometimes accompanied by a battery/thermometer warning icon.
Before replacing any parts, follow these troubleshooting steps to check for common wiring faults:
Turn off the main battery pack switch.Locate the motor temperature sensor wires under the rear seat on the motor.Unplug and securely reconnect the 4-pin connector, pushing the pins tightly into the terminal block.
Check the wiring harness leading to the motor; zip ties are often pulled too tight at the factory, leaving no slack when the rear suspension moves. Carefully cut tight zip ties to give the wires some slack.
If these steps do not work the sensor itself may be faulty and needs replacing
